Survey of Faculty Grant Reviewers

Research Development is committed to fostering a mentoring and peer support culture at the College of Medicine. To that end, we are conducting a survey to capture the collective experience of faculty members who have served as grant reviewers. If you have served as a reviewer for any external funding sponsor in the last five years, we would greatly appreciate your feedback. This survey takes less than five minutes to complete.

If you have any questions, please contact the Research Concierge Service at researchconcierge@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.

Thank you!

To provide an educational resource to College of Medicine investigators seeking representative examples of effective grant writing, Research Development maintains a digital library of funded research proposals in BOX. Faculty members and trainees gain access to the library via request submitted to the Research Concierge. A variety of proposals are featured in the library - mentored Ks, R21s, R01s, and R01-equivalent awards from philanthropic funding sponsors. The library also includes a small number of fellowship proposals.

All funded proposals contained in the library were submitted by College of Medicine faculty members and trainees. To keep the library up-to-date and responsive to investigator needs, we aspire to expand the library's offerings to include more NIH proposals. We equally welcome proposals from other federal agencies (e.g. DoD, HRSA) and private foundations (e.g. PCORI, AHA, ACS). Budgets are excluded from proposals that are uploaded to the library. Furthermore, the PI has full discretion to redact information deemed sensitive.
